Hello, Goodbye

It’s been 5 years.

I wanted to sort of explain myself before deleting all the heads that I have posted, for the sake of Cuppy, Xanthia and Monica, so that they are not associated with my mistakes. It feels kind of stupid to revisit this so many years down the road, but I want to close this chapter of my life forever. I also very selfishly want there to be no ammunition available to aim at me in the future.

Younger me was very keen on copying personal heads that other people wore. I can semi-specifically name three.

One was worn by someone called “kiara” in game. The hair was somewhere between blonde and orange, eyes grey, and the part that I copied was a strand that they had changed with the bangs. It was cute as hell, and I wanted it. Thus, I edited a head, added the strand, made it a curl, and wore it myself. I wasn’t called out by “kiara”, so after eventually refunding the head, I just kept going and edited multiple different heads to have the same curly bit.

Another one was worn by someone whose name I think started with the letter “m”. I cannot for the life of me remember their name. This head in particular was an edit of a head on chiigraal. (Specifically, the brunette head posted January 21, 2014.) The head that I copied blinked and a little pink heart would show up. The head that I posted did a two frame blink.

One final example is a head that I posted multiple recolors of. I got the idea off someone I also saw in passing, but also cannot remember the name of. On this one, I stole the face. The big eyes, no nose, no mouth. And the curl from “kiara” once again.

It’s kind of hard to recall if any of the other heads I have posted are copies or false ideas that I’ve had, so to be safe, I have decided that I would rather not have any of them up or out anywhere.

I wanted to apologize to artists that I never credited, artists that I stole ideas/concepts from, and I wanted to apologize for being so hypocritical in a post I made in 2015 about this very thing.

I’m also old now, so.
